This survey measures trends that have come to light in the most recent editions of the survey. These can be summarized as the growth of the tablet market, the surge in interest in both Android and Windows on mobile platforms, the continued investment in mobile development within the corporate enterprise, the relevance and complementary nature of cloud computing, and the challenges posed by different kinds of fragmentation.
