Focus Groups and Other Qualitative Research
Our focus groups are small groups of ten to twelve programmers who are screened and selected to fit your specifications. If you want corporate developers we find them. If you want developers who use a particular platform or language - no problem. If you want to hear only from developers who buy online - we'll have them in the group. No matter what your particular needs are - we find and recruit the type of developers you're interested in.
The groups themselves are held in professional focus group facilities in any of a number of major cities. Our moderators are skilled professional market research moderators who have been conducting groups for the high-tech community since the late eighties. They know technology and how to talk to programmers.
You relax with refreshments behind a one-way mirror and watch each two-hour group progress along the discussion guide which we've prepared and you've approved before hand. You'll gain a deep understanding into whatever issues you're concerned with as you hear exactly what developers think - right from the developers themselves.
Focus groups are typically sold and conducted two per evening. And unless your issue is regional, we suggest you plan to conduct groups in at least two cities.
