This study is intended for use by venture capitalists, software development tools vendors, server software vendors, operating system vendors, middleware vendors, and any other software manufacturer whose products target developers or who are impacted by the opinions and attitudes of software developers.
The larger goal of this survey series is to provide a resource for software vendors that will assist them in creating products that are useful, desirable and readily accepted in the marketplace. This survey series provides highly valuable information for strategic decision-making about future product direction, as well as for product positioning, messaging and marketing.
